We are in Christmas countdown mode now with Christmas being a week away. Everyone is getting even more hostile. Shootings all over the United States, folks out of a job, economy keeps slumping but malls getting crowded still and shoppers are just loosing all kinds of manners, common sense and respect towards each other. At this time, it is best sometimes to just get away from it all and focus on the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus, the savior. Spread a little more cheer towards all living things and SMILE! If Darth Vader can take time out of his busy schedule to conduct a flash mob orchestra, heck you too can make a difference is someone's life by helping out more instead of expecting that Apple, Inc. product to appear under your Christmas tree.

The magnitude of the K-pop boom can't really be felt in the United States, since well, they are Korean Pop, you might be able to check it out in bigger cities such as Los Angeles or New York, but that would be it. However, Korean pop is the biggest trend right now all over ASIA and there's non bigger than SNSD/Girls' Generation/소녀시대/So Nyuh Shi Dae.

A group of nine young women in their early 20s', SNSD/Girls' Generation/소녀시대/So Nyuh Shi Dae debut in 2007 as teen girls, now they've become lovely young ladies and it shows. Although, They are mostly the same in age, their vital heights are different. The shortest of the girls stand only at 158 cm to the tallest at 170cm. Add to that their curves and skin tones, we can safely say that we are ready for Girls' Generation to take over the world.

Buzzer Beat - Japanese dorama from 2009

I am half way done watching this dorama that originally aired in Japan in the summer of 2009, and so far I thoroughly enjoy it and most importantly so does my wife. It brought back fun loving memories of how basketball used to be the center of my life in high school, and it made me glad that I chose that sports although it robbed me of my knees, my back and many other physical injuries that came with the sports, I am still at times reminded of the beauty and how much FUN it used to be. The funny coincidences that relates this dorama to me personally, is the jersey number worn by the main character, number EIGHT. But of course I was never that good, nor popular with the ladies back then, but there was a girl from Hyogo Prefecture, Japan that I became close to and of course, Keiko Kitagawa from this dorama happens to be from the same City & Prefecture, so I guess there's more than just one coincidence, but then again, if you dig the little things and linked everything, I am sure there will be more but let's just leave it there.......for now! LOL!!!
